Yohana Canabrava
Yohana Canabrava, a 28-year-old Brazilian from Franco da Rocha, São Paulo, has embraced learning despite limited opportunities in her small town. With her parents' blue collar professions, she attended private schools and excelled in English and Spanish. Skipping a grade, she entered college at 15 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management, specializing in Travel Operation and Service Management, by the age of 20.
Yohana has accumulated extensive experience in the hospitality industry, working in diverse roles within restaurants, hotels, and luxury resorts. Her accomplishments speak for themselves, and she remains sincerely grateful for the opportunities she has been given.
In 2017, Yohana embarked on a personal journey, leaving her home country to explore new horizons. She spent over a year in Dublin, Ireland, immersing herself in European cultures, enhancing her English proficiency, and gaining valuable career experience at Irish pubs and restaurants.
In January 2019, Yohana received a special invitation from the president of Togo, a West African country. She spent a short time there, overseeing the construction of military housing as a superintendent for a financial company.
After a short return to Brazil in October 2019, Yohana made the decision to embark on a new life in the United States. Working at the Law Offices of Allen Sawyer, she gained extensive knowledge in criminal litigation and project management in various business endeavors, including cafes, trucking companies, wineries, etc.
However, it was during her project management at Oddfellows Tavern that Yohana decided to focus on the service industry. She has committed herself to utilizing her skills and expertise as the General Manager of The Exchange 1874.
